During this time, we have advocated for public trails and spaces, hosted free events and partnered with organizations throughout the region to tell the stories and preserve the history of the Ohio & Erie Canal.

Heritage & History
Camp Cleveland, now a park on the Towpath, was Cleveland’s largest Civil War training camp & the only one in operation after 1861.
